Call for Works
 
Dear members of the ISCM,
I am very pleased to announced the official Call for Works 2017. You are invited to submit scores/projects for the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) World New Music Days 2017, taking place in Vancouver, Canada from November 2-8, 2017. Submit via the ISCM’s Submission Wizard no later than November 15, 2016 at 11:59PM PDT (Pacific Daylight Time). Late submissions will not be considered.
Call for Works  Official Submission must be submitted by a Section or Full Associate Member of the ISCM. The ISCM Statutes guarantee that at least one work from an Official Submission will be selected for performance in the ISCM World New Music Days 2017, providing the Submission adheres to the ISCM’s “Rules of Procedure for the Organization of the ISCM World Music Days Festival” at www.iscm.org
The Official Submission must consist of exactly six works. The six works must be submitted in a minimum of four different categories which are identified in this Call for Works. All pieces must have been completed in the year 2006 or later. Priority will be given to works completed in 2011 or later. Preference will be given to compositions with a duration of 12 minutes or less.

Individual Submissions must be submitted online in English via Submittable.com. An entry fee of €53.50 applies to Individual Submissions, payable at the time of submission. Please, promote this information via your networks.

Selected works for the ISCM World New Music Days 2017 will be announced by early 2017. Please do not enquire before March 31, 2017.
